The Lewis Family is that of the family of Mildreth Ann Lewis and her sister, Mary Jane Lewis, both born in Tennessee and both marrying brothers with the last name of Dennis. Mildreth, later referred to as Anna, relocated from Claiborne Parish, LA after the death of her husband, Granville, in 1877. I suspect the reason for the move there was family members.
