Hello. I have a little bit of information on a Morgan family that lived on Reed's Creek but, for some reason, my dates don't exactly match up. My great-grandfather on my father's side was named James T. (or D.) Morgan but my records say he was born in 1852. So not exactly old enough to be a son. Also his parents- according to the census- came from Alabama. On the other hand, how many Morgan families could there have been living in that immediate area at that same time? If you would like to compare notes or share information, I would be very glad. Although my family research goes back to the colonial days, the Morgan family, my namesake barely extends 100 years in past.
Contact me if you have any ideas.
