I am looking for information on Spilsby and Myra (or Mira) Cocke. The name has been found as Cocke, Coke, Cook, Cox, Cooke and Coxe. I am told he is burined in Sharp County, Ark., in an area called Evening Shade, but have not been able to locate any information on him or his wife. I know Spilsby was born 1803 in Dickson or Montgomery COunty, Tennessee, I know he lived in Humphrey County, Tennessee, in 1850 due o federal census showing him, his wife as Mira and his children, also on this same 1850 census it showed his father, Richard Cocke and wife Elizabeth living with Spilsby's sister Elizabeth who married into the John May family. Elizabeth (Richards wife) maiden name was Tribble. Her father was Spilsby Tribble. Anyone with any information, please, contact me maybe we can share info.
