Earl Campbell and Green connection?

My grandmother, Bertha Elizabeth (Green) Pinkston b. 16 Aug 1912 Sharp County Arkansas, had mentioned Earl Campbell as her 2nd or 3rd cousin on the Green side. Her father was James Henry Green b. 6 Mar 1880 Arkansas. Gg grandpa James Green married gg grandma Minnie Hennessee b. 9 May 1879/1880 Arkansas. James had said he was Choctaw Indian. They lived in Sharp County Arkansas. I know absolutely nothing about the Green side. I would be eternally grateful for any help!!!!!!!
