Spilsby Cox, Coke or Cocke from Tennessee
Posted by: Ed Coke Date: January 16, 2002 at 15:12:04
  of 792

Looking for information about my 3rd great grandfather Spilsby Cocke. His name has been found spelled Coke (my derivative) and I have been told he was burried in Sharp County under the name Spilsby Cox.

His wife was Mira, and she does show up on the census index.

Spilsby arrived in late 1850's or even 1860, his son R.F was with him and joined the Arkansas Militia or Infantry in 1861 and served the remainder of the war.

Any info would be appreciated.
