I am trying to connect to what I believe may be family. In the 1860 census there is a Moses and Martha Clawson living in Blue Bayou, Sevier, Ark. and in the 1870 census, there is a Martha Clawson living in Bear Creek, Sevier, Ark. I can't find either of them after 1860 (for Moses) or after 1870 for Martha. The Martha is both censuses was born in the state of Mississippi, but the year of birth varies greatly! I do find a daughter Kate Clawson Craig, in 1880 in Big Creek, Sebastian, Ark. She was my great grandmother. I believe it is her brother Dugan Clawson, or Doug Clawson also living in Sebastian Co. I am stuck researching the Clawson in Sevier County. It does look like Moses may have come from Hempsted co.
