Dan I just saw your post and looked in my 1800s Sevier county Arkansas marriage index and did not find an Alcorn or an Irvin. However I do know there are Irvin living in Sevier County now probably in the Horatio Area. Since his second name was Irvin led me to believe his mother might have been an Irvin. Little River County use to be a part of Sevier County, also counties included in the reconstruction at one time was polk, Howard, Hempstead,Ark and McCurtain County Okla borders Sevier County as does Bowie County Texas which use to be part of Red River County Texas.
