Probably his name was Bates but was in hand writing and hard to read. Her name could have Hogan, there again the person who hand wrote it into the book might have mis understook. Anyway I believe this to your kin.

You may get a copy of the marriage license from DeQueen Arkansas Court House, clerks office. Price use to be $l.00 for a copy or 10.00 for a certified copy, proably plus postage unless you send them a self addressed envelope.
