Thanks for your message. Yes about the Dollarhides and Storys. My gg grandmother Cythia Armenthia Pettigrew who Married Robert Oden Stuart had a brother Matthew Pettigrew B.1838 married Rebecca Story or Storey and she died and he married Francis Dollarhide. I would love to talk with any and all their descendents or even know where they are. Matthew Pettigrew is the son of Matthew S. Pettigrew and Dicy Dunning-they came here from Christian, Kentucky. They had 7 Children; Martha Pettigrew 1832,James William Pettigrew 1824,Cythia Armenthia Pettigrew 1835,Matthew Pettigrew 1838,Sarah E.(SallY) Pettigrew 1843,Experience (Exy)Pettigrew 1846,John James Wesley-Called James 1848. I have found in several places where father Matthew S. died of lung cancer in 1850 and Dicy Dunning Pettigrew never remarried but raised the children who I believe were all born in Arkansas. And in her older age Dicy lived with Son Matthew and his wife and children. My e mail is and I live in Little River County.Hope to hear from you again.Ola Faye Smith Brown, one more thing there was a James Wesley Pettigrew born abt 1865 married a Rebecca Dollarhide in about 1885 in Sevier County later lived in McCurtain County,Okla-trying to find information about him also.
