Hale Family- John M. Hale

Looking for any info on John M. Hale who appears in the 1840 Census in Jefferson township. Part of that township may have been annexed to Polk county in 1844. Was he related to the John C. Hale and Cyrus A. Hale in the same county at this time period? I believe John M. Hale was the spouse of Mary Hale and her family who appear in the 1850 census in Franklin township (annexed to Little River county 1867). Hoping some body might have researched him a little as well. Thanks
Dan Hale, Dallas, TX
