Have searched for this family and have almost came to a dead end.Sevier Co. always comes up in what little documentation I have.
I found this family one time for sure in the 1910 Sevier Co. census and here it is.
STINSON,WILLIAM R. 53
GEORGIA 48
ANDREW 17
HENRY 15
DOLLIE 10
SAMUEL 07
PENNINGTON, WILL 56
LAURA 25
HARTEL 08
ROSY 07
IDA 05
IRVIN 03
ALVIN 02
GEORGIA NR
All 14 people were living in the same household.Mr.Pennington died in maybe 1912 or 13 and by then they had another son ROY b.1913.My father in law was HERBERT b.1906 and as you see he is not listed.Laura married a HARLEY E FRIZZELL in DeQueen in 1914 and they had a child in 1915.Mr.Frizzell died in 1919in DeQueen and Laura being young doled out the children to neighbors and gave the baby Georgia to a family at DeQueen by the name of STARKEY and all I know about this is a newspaper clipping and he had a sister by the name of Tracy.Mr.Starkey died and the Mrs. married a MONROE.George was raised a Monroe and has a family in Oregon all goes by Monroe.
Rosy married Mr.BERNIE LEE at Provo and I found them already married in 1920 census.Ida married Mr.CHARLIE ABBOTT in Miller Co. later moving to Clark Co.Mr. Charlie died and she married his brother ARTHUR ABBOTT.Ida had a child JAMES ROBERT and being unable to keep him gave him to Rosy and Bernie and he was raised a LEE ,again Sevier Co.
HERBERT married ETHAMAE SHAW at Provo.
Now my questions.Do you know any of these people?Where did all the other children go?Where are these people buried that died in Sevier Co.?I have grave yard stomped there and found one Pennington at Clear Creek and my father in law is at Old Piney.I have 2 old letters and there was talk of a JACK dieing at age 5 or 6 and Laura would cry when she was asked about this child. Please can someone point me in the right direction.
