Trying to find descendants of Will J Tucker and Jessie Whitley Tucker. They moved to the Old Potter community near Mena, Polk County, AR in 1910 from Des Arc, AR. In 1942 they moved to Miami, Ottawa County, OK where Will died on Nov 27, 1943. Jessie died there on June 20, 1953, and according to Jessie’s obituary and family recollections they both are buried in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Mena, AR. Will and Jessie had two sons, William Gomer Tucker and Arthur Devreau Tucker, and two daughters, Josephine Tucker Durham and Addie Tucker Smith.

Jessie’s obituary shows that William and Arthur were living in Miami, OK at her death. Also, her daughters had married and Josephine Durham and family were living in DeQueen, Sevier County, AR and Addie Smith and family were living in Little Rock, Pulaski County, AR. From family recollections , Addie’s husband, Fred Smith, was a Arkansas State Trooper. After he retired, the Smiths moved to near Fort Smith, Sebastian County, AR.

Jessie’s obituary shows she had 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. It also lists the following family and friends attending the funeral -
From Little Rock - Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith, and Eugene and Joseph Smith.
From DeQueen - Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Durham, Miss Linda Durham, Mrs. Gunter England, Mrs. Joe T. Dunlap, Mrs. Kelly Oliver, Mrs. Ruby Wilson, and Mrs. W. H. Thower.
From Miami, OK - Mr. and Mrs. W. Gomer Tucker, Mr. And Mrs. Arthur Tucker, Mrs. Tilda Melton, Mrs. Devereaux Tucker, Miss Mary Elizabeth Tucker, Jimmy Tucker, Richard Tucker, and Penny Sue Tucker.

I am the grandson of Will’s brother, John David Tucker Sr., and we have pictures of Gomer, Arthur, and Josephine when they were children, and we would like to share these with descendants.
