I BELIEVE THIS IS YOUR MARY PRIDE. MARY HAD A LOT OF BROTHERS AND SISTERS. 2 OF HER BROTHER NAMED SMITH MARRIED TWO OF ELIZABETH CAROLINE PRIDES DAUGHTERS AT THE METHODIST CHURCH AT HORATIO,ALSO. MARY PRIDE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN NAMES AFTER HER MOTHER WHO WAS ALSO MARY TERRENTINE SMITH AND FATHER GEORGE SMITH.MY GG GRANDFATHER ISAAC NEWTON JACKSON WHO WAS MARRIED TO ELIZABETH CAROLINE PRIDE WAS A LAWYER,SHERIFF,POSTMASTER AT PARACLIFTA. HE AND HENRY CARTER PRIDE WERE PARTNERS IN LAND DEALING,ETC. HENRY CARTER PRIDE WAS EXECUTOR OF ISAAC WILL WHEN ISAAC DIED IN 1861 AT A A YOUNG AGE BUT WITH 6 CHILDREN. I WAS TOLD THAT HENRY CARTER PRIDE AND MARY HAD THE VERY LARGE HOUSE BUILT IN HORATIO,ON THE HILL,ACROSS FROM THE CEMETERY IN 1919. DO YOU KNOW IF THIS IS RIGHT OR NOT?
