Thank you for the reply.I'm not sure if it's the same person or not, the one that I wrote to was from the Netherland.She gave me the web page for the cemetery and told me that each family in the area adopted a fallen soilder grave which they decorated every year.Some of the families had information for the soilders and others didn't.
All she had on this one man was his name and where he was from, his military papers had been misplaced in the 1970s.
So she was unable to gather any more info on him.
I did call ??? at one of the historical Assoc. to see if some one would check this out for me and see if there might be a obit or a picture of him in the paper.But I have not had a response from her. This might be the lady that you are referring to that did follow through on my phone call.
I'm in Harrison AR. and it would take me about 3 hours to drive down there and I don't have the time or energy to make the trip.Between taking care of my mother and two very young granddaughers my hands are full. It seems as if all of my trips now are driving my mother to funerals in OK,TX & Mo.In fact I just returned from Ok. and going to another family funeral.
