Wagon Freighter killed near Ft. Smith about 1866 . HELP!
Family story has it that John GUYNES and his brother, Henry were wagon freighters in Ft. Smith about 1866.Apparently the got into an argument with another freighter and killed him.I don't know any of the details. All I have been told is that they then ran to Texas to get away from the law.Does this story sound familiar to anyone?Any information about the GUYNES (sometimes spelled Guines or Goins ) family would be greatly appreciated.Email me [email protected]
