not related, just a volunteer. I don't live close to either of those counties, but this is the information I found about Schmuck and Shelly's living in Arkansas. They may be your family.

Schmuck Albert - Noble County’s fifth traffic fatality of the year was recorded
Saturday when a westbound New York Central passenger train struck and killed
Albert Fredrick Schmuck, 76, of 333 N. Oak St. in Kendallville, as he walked
across the Main St. crossing in that city. A son of Fredrick and Katherine
Schmuck, he was born in Kendallville June 17, 1876 and on June 17, 1913 he was
married to Iva Corrine Rothermel, who survives. Also surviving are three
daughters, Mrs. Jean Fox, Mrs. Jay Munk and Mrs. Lawrence Jackson, all of
Kendallville; a son, Warren of Hartford City; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Nevin
Cain, Mrs. Beulah Brandt, Mrs. Alfred McKean, and Mrs. Franklin Shippy, all
of Kendallville, and Mrs. Howard Grossman, Mishawaka; a sister, Mrs. Day
Baughman of the Lisbon community; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death. Services Tuesday in
Arthur J. Berhalter Funeral Home in Kendallville. Burial, Lake View
Cemetery. ~ 4-9-1953

Schmuck Charles, 72, died Tuesday at his farm west of here. His daughter,
Gertrude, found his body in his car where he had died of a heart attack.
He was born March 31, 1874, the son of Frederick and Katherine Schmuck.
March 6, 1904 he married Carrie Mae Weimer. They were the parents of
seven children, one daughter, Dorothy, dying in infancy. He was a member
of Kendallville Lodge No. 316, IOOF, and the Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.
Services will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Church. Interment will be in
the church cemetery. Survivors include the wife, Carrie; three sons,
Clarence of Kendallville, Carl of R. 1, Avilla, and Walter of Albion;
and three daughters, Mrs. Chelsea Uhl of Kendallville, Mrs. Lelia Uhl of
Avilla, and Mrs. Gertrude Arnold; and 18 grandchildren. Two sisters,
Mrs. Mary Harsh of Garrett and Mrs. Day Baughman of near Lisbon, and
a brother, Albert, this city, also survive. He lived on his farm here
until about three years ago when he retired and moved to Kendallville.
