Searching if anyone knows of the location of Capt. Waddy T. Hunt. He was a Captain in the Civil War. He was killed at his home by a band of Northern Troops in Aug 1864. He owned a large tract of land in Searcy Count from land records I found.
After he was killed the family abandoned their farm and moved to Illinois.
