Hi Robin,
Your post re Reynolds and Martha Dean might be a connection to my Dean ancestors. The 1880 census, Campbell Twp Searcy Co., lists a John (JJ?)Reynolds, b GA about 1855 and wife, Martha, b AR about 1856 and two children, William b about 1875 and Molly b about 1878. I have been told that this Martha is the sister of my grandfather, Boman Turney Dean. He named a daughter Martha. I have not found this family in any other census records. Could we be on the same trail? I have plenty of Dean history if we can connect the dots.
