Faye,
I am always looking for BROWN surname info but what I would
like here is some info on the WORTHY surname; must go back
but certain I have come across it.
I am researching my WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN tri-racial
family line for which I CANNOT make ANY connections.
I am most anxious to find ANY info of my ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, mulatto, born 1833 NC.
I have been researching for 13yrs w/o finding anything conclusive and have no clue why, altho I believe that some kin was in AR as well as: SC,NC,VA,RI,MN,MA,CT,NS et al.
Like everyone else, am having trouble finding the Native
connection to my line, and am not certain what my ggrandfather's heritage was as I have never seen pix, but family lore tells of Native ancestry of both ggrands.
If of interest, please contact me.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
