What a wonderful surprise!!! I would love for you to send me any info. that you have on the Bakers; I am trying to get information on our Native American Heritage. Ida Baker I believe is Choctaw who is my grandmother, she married John Mac. Melton. John Riley and Christina Petty are her parents.
Also there is Burris from Arkansas Verna Loretta Burris was my grandmother, she was from Hot Springs Arkansas, her parents: Marion Grant Burris from North Carolina, and Emmer Isabel Tucker from North Carolina, My grandmother told me that they were Cherokee. Please email me back and let me know if you would like my home address, and any cost for the info. I really appreciate the help.
