I noticed your posting concerning this family in both Pope and Searcy Counties in Arkansas. I had already checked Pope County early records and found nothing there. So wondered when I found this second posting on Searcy County site, if perhaps you were not sure where they were.

I have a book for the entire state of Arkansas for the 1850 census done by Bobbie Jones McLane and Desmond Walls Allen. There are three CLOVER families listed in this census. All three are in Clark County, Arkansas. Heads of households are: Stephen L. Clover age 26 born in AR; William Clover age 50 born in IL; and William H. Clover age 24 born in AR.

I also have an index for 1840 that shows William Clover in Clark Co. and Jas. Clover in Sevier Co.
The 1830 AR index shows William Clover in Clark Co. and Isaac Clover in Miller Co.

These counties are in the southwest corner of Arkansas.
Hope this will help you.

I live in Pope Co.
