I'm not directly related to the Scott line but I've run across them while researching in Searcy and Pope Co AR. In fact one James M Scott married my g-grandmother Harriet Campbell Williams in 1897 Searcy Co AR. Second marriages for both and they had one daughter together. But I'm not sure who James' parents were. He first married Sarah E Weaver in 1871, daughter of Jefferson and Nancy Weaver who were from Wayne Co TN.
