Mary...
I think these heirs have turned out to be the grandchildren
of Ben Potter. I have found evidence that Lev Potter did
NOT die in 1865, but was living in Scotland, VB CO, AR in
1895 but in 1896 had died and these were his children
(and most are listed in the 1880 Benton Co. AR census
along with Lev and his wife Mary Jane LUNA)...
however, I have not traced all of them down...it is a
never-ending process.

I have been led to believe that Ben Potter and William
Potter were probably brothers, coming to AR about the
same time. Ben seemed to have several tracts of land
and I think the boundary lines changed also so that in
one census he is in Searcy CO, the next in VB Co., and
the next back to Searcy Co. He also is listed as
being a farmer, a blacksmith and wagon maker, a miller,
etc. Then some have said he had a store......gee,
I guess he was gifted!!!!!
