William Salyers (Salliers) b. abt 1805 and Martha Gentry

As part of the extended family of Tyree Gentry and Delilah I am researching whether or not a Martha Gentry who reportedly married William Salyers and moved to Clark County Arkansas and then to Saline County was a daughter of Tyree and Delilah.

All I have at this point are references to this by researchers and one quote from a book. As no corroborating evidence is included, I am looking for birth, marriage or land records between 1800 and 1820 in Tennessee for either William Salyers or Martha Gentry.

Later references to William after 1830 and Martha by herself after 1850, lead me to believe that they came to Arkansas in the period between 1817 to 1830 first in Clark County and later in Saline County.

Any help would be appreciated.
