This information is transcribed from page 88 of the Woodruff County, Arkansas, Loose Probate Records, 1862-1900; obtained from the McClung Collection of the East Tennessee Historical Center (Knoxville, Tennessee):

Drawer 7, Folio 76. Roll 39

John F. WOODFIN died in St. Francis Co. [AR] prior to 20 January 1862. Thomas D. CHUNN appointed administrator in St. Francis Co., then in Woodruff Co. [AR] on 3 December 1867. On 9 May 1854, Sarah DINKINS of Marshall Co., Mississippi, gave a bunch of black slaves to her granddaughter, Mary G. WOODFIN, formerly Mary G. SCOTT, of the same county and state. Witness to this deed of gift was John F. WOODFIN. In July 1867, Thomas D. CHUNN was appointed guardian of the minor children of John F. WOODFIN, deceased: Lilly, Anne, C.G., and Minnie WOODFIN.
Hope this helps someone as much as it helps my own research.
