An article in the Pocahontas Star Herald 24 Aug 2006, regarding the new History Book reads as follows:
History Book Deadline is Nov. 15, 2006
"Randolph Co. History Book's deadline has been extended to Nov. 15, 2006. Remember: Today's citizen is tomorrow's ancestor!
Please put your family in this history book so that you grandchildren won't have to wonder who their ancestors are.
