Looking for any information on Tobias Peters listed in Randolph county in 1840 and 1850 Census. 1850 Tobias was born ca 1800 in Virginia. Wife Amelia ca 1810, with children John age 18, Mary J age 17,Margaret age 15, Tobias age 13 and Hulda A. age 4. Living next door to him in 1850 is Henry Peters who is the right age to be his son. Henry age 27 born in Tennessee. with wife Margaret age 18 born Tennessee son James T 2 born Arkansas. I believe Margaret was Margaret Maynard(Mainard). In 1860 Tobias Peters family is gone and Henry's family includes ame: Henry W Peters
