Kathy, Did find more on your Drucilla. Seems Jesse married twice. (1) to Eliza Jane Adams which I had given you before. Then (2) Eliza Jane Dennison from KY. They had: Mary Belle, 1866; Eliza Ann, 1867; Sidney Erwin, 1870; Rosalee, 1872; Julia, 1874; Cordelia, 1876; Jesse; and Druscilla, 1883. Note that these births seem to conflict with the first family, and the wife's name is the same. Would indicate to me that Mary, Ann, and Sidney were not the children of Eliza Jane Adams, or were listed as the children of Eliza Jane Dennison merely because of their age when she and Jesse married. I have a few questions on this family, but that is what I was given. Have passed your query on to a couple of other Baxter researchers, so hope you get some good info. You will find that Jesse, Sidney, and Erwin seem to be family names. Used quite frequently in the family, so I am working on the theory that Jesse's mother was Elizabeth Erwin. No name for father as yet as she was widow with this family in McDowell Co., NC in 1850. Jo
