Zara Briggs & Sarah Pyburn - 1840-1850

Any information would be appreciated on Sarah Pyburn who married Zara Briggs on 15 March 1840 in Randolph County, Arkansas. By the 1850 census, Sarah was living alone with the following children:

William, born 1841
John, born 1843
Sarah, born 1844
Mary, born 1847

Zara was in jail in East Baton Rouge, LA for horsetheft.

What happened to their children? I could not locate them in subsequent census records, though a number of years later Zara's older son by an earlier marriage (George Briggs, born 1823) lived in Randolph County for a time (he was my gr-gr-grandfather).

Was Sarah the brother of John Pyburn, who married Elizabeth Luttrell in Randolph County also in 1840?

Any help appreciated!

Debbie Stuart
