Looking for relatives of William BROWN and Abner (Absolam)BROWN.
I know the following:
Abner was born in McNary Co., TN.
Died in Fayetteville, ARK abt. 1883
Had one brother, William "Billy" and two sisters, Rebecca and Jane.
Rebecca married a BAILY. Jane married Cordy PARRISH.
Abner BROWN married Lucinda SWAYNE who had two sisters: Nettie who married Billy BROWN, Abner's brother, and Patsy who married a MILTON.
Abner and Lucinda had ten children all born in McNary TN:
Crawford, died in Civil War, GA
Frank, married Manda WRIGHT, sister to Willilam WRIGHT.
Bill, married Elizabeth WILSON
Jefferson Lafayette, married Ellen HALE & later Talitha Ann LEWIS
Sterling Quince, married Kate JOHNSON
Adeline, married William WRIGHT
Belle, married Haywood THOMPSON
Martha, married Jarrity COOK
Tilda, married Charles PARRISH
one daughter died in TN
Billy was a State Representative in TN. Abner & Billy's families moved to Randolph Co., ARK in 1858. Abner moved again to Washington Co., ARK in 1876.
Billy stayed in Randolph Co. Billy had a son, Ben A. Brown, who I beleive was Circuit Clerk in 1896 - 1900 and a judge from 1904 to 1906.
