Cindi: Without a precise death date, it's like looking for the proverbial needle. Have you tried posting a lookup request to the "Record Lookups" Forum? Ancestry has the database "1914-1950 Arkansas Death Index" and I'm sure, based upon my experiences, someone there will search. To the best of my knowledge, there are no published indexes/abstracts of LR newspapers for your period of interest. I have obtained numerous LR obits from the Central Arkansas Library but its been a long time so I don't remember the details - I do know you need a fairly precise date though. Rick
