TRANSCRIBER NEEDED
We need someone to first review, then secondly, most likely to transcribe a 845-page piece of history!
Its said to be very fragile, bound in three 1937+/- bindings. It was never micro-filmed nor indexed when donated to Arkansas History Commission (AHC) around 1964 by Farrar Clinton Newberry, Sr,(1887AR-1968AR) who received it from Virginia's grandson Russell Davis GRAY (1899KS-1975NJ).
Granted, reconstruction stories about Arkansas following the Civil War have been exploited from A to Z, except for G (Virginia L GRAY)!
This 1872-1874, 845-page manuscript/diary will no doubt reveal many interesting, here-to-fore, unknown facts, documenting historic events
