If you can get to Little Rock, the Arkansas History Commission, behind the Capitol Building, has the ARKANSAS GAZETTE and the ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT indexed by year and on microfilm. I found obituaries of my Bridges family back to 1860. I am in Houston, but may go to Little Rock in May. Check with me in a month and if I can, I will check for you...good luck. The obituaries cover Pulaski County and some surrounding counties.
