My grandmother, Effie John Slate was born in Pulaski Co., in the early 1880's I am trying to locate any information on her parents and grandparents can anyone help.
He may have been a minister. He was tall and very kind. May of had a mustache. Her mother died about 1896 and Effie moved to Collin Co., Texas. There she met and married Benjamin Burton Bass in 1901. If you think you know them please let me know. Thank you. Carol
