I am trying to discover something about a GREER family that would have had connections to the PEAY, MONTGOMERY or DUNBAR family in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR.
John Ann Grace PEAY born 1848 Little Rock, Ar., was the daughter of Olive (MONTGOMERY) and Gordon Neill PEAY.
Olive (MONTGOMERY) was the daughter of Caroline Elizabeth (DUNBAR) and a Mr. MONTGOMERY.
In a family history passed down, it is said that John Anna Grace (PEAY)'S father sent her and her brother to Missouri to get the children out of the war zone when the Civil War began, and that they were accompanied by her grandmother GREER.
I am hoping that someone with GREER family ancestors in Pulaski Co., AR. can tell me what family line this "grandmother GREER" is connected to, and how she is related to John Anna Grace (PEAY).
