Howard, how kind of you to do all of this. I believe, as you do, that this is the Emma Hensley that married Joseph M. Caudle. She is my g.grandma and her daughter, Minnie, my grandmother. We were told by one posting that Emma died in 1890 giving birth to Minnie but I believe she lived and married Joe Caudle and they had Lillian Belvie Caudle. There is no death record of her dying in 1890 in Eufalla, McIntosh, Ok. where Minnie was born. I believe she either ran away (her husband sent Minnie to his mother to raise while he remarried less than a year later) or she was sent away. If you want to coninue searching it would be great but I think we just have to find the right info from somewhere before we will know for sure. Thanks again for your help.
