Thank you so much for responding. I was given the name of the cemetery by a person who lived in the area many years ago. Is it possible that the name of the cemetery changed since the 1894 burial? Or, could it be a long forgotten cemetery like so many are? The person who gave me that name, has since deceased and I don't know anyone else to ask about it. He had read a letter that was written by an ancestor of his, about the burial of Elizabeth Anne White Gentry who was buried there in 1894. She died in Dover, Polk, Arkansas. I gather after her husband died, she went out from Alabama to Arkansas with one or some of her children. I have to say I'm disappointed, but I appreciate your efforts anyway. Thank you again.
This is an excert of the letter I received: "Elizabeth Anne was born 1818 in Al., She died 1894 in Polk Co. Dover AR; buried McFadden Cemetery. My Uncle Charlie, writes "Buried Elizabeth White Gentry Today. Brother Bannel born yesterday, She had 8 Kids, Alfred go home in day or two." That was my Dad born." The person called Bannel, was Labannel Gentry b: 09 Sep 1894. The Alfred mentioned, is Elizabeth's son who returned to Alabama. Bannel was the father of Louis Dale Gentry who sent me this information. This is why I think there was a name change or unknown cemetery somewhere.
