I am looking for the husband of Manerva Bell. There is an Alfred Taylor and Manerva living in McNairy Tennessee in the 1850 Census. He is 22 and she is 21 which would be her age. She has a son Thomas and a daughter Ann living with her in her parents home in 1860 in Alcorn, Mississippi. She is listed as a widow. In the 1850 Mcnairy Tn census is also a Nancy Taylor with children John, Nathaniel, Nancy, Mary, Ann, and Minerva close by in dwelling 1792. Alfred and Manerva live in dwelling 1835. Could Alfred possibly be the brother of Nancy's husband?? Who was he? Manerva was a dau of David and Eliza Bell and was born in Alabama. Thomas Newton Taylor, Manerva's son named his first born son Earl Thomas Taylor and we have wondered if his father would have been Earl??? We would really appreciate any help with this. Thomas married Paralee Broadaway and they went to Pike county Arkansas and had their family. Paralee also lived in Alcorn in the 1880 census with her sister Emaline and Columbus Bell. Columbus was Manerva's brother. Thanks for any help.
