He died in Newton co AR, down on the Buffalo River. It took several men to carry up & out. He is buried in the Cassville cemetery, Cassville, Newton co AR. He is listed on Find A Grave as are his parents. Only the Cassville cemetery is listed as being near Fallsville. It's not. Cassville is no longer a town, but at one time had a post office and store. Now there are only the Cassville Church and cemetery. Sie Sutherlan m/1 Susie Greer (sometimes listed as Susie Bailey)on 9 Mar 1907 in Newton co AR. He was 19 & she was 16. They are on the 1910 Cherokee co OK census, stamped pg 68A, dwl 433 fam 461. They are in her stepfather, Wyatt Bailey & her mother, Rebecca {Greer} Bailey's household. There are 11 people in the household, lines 19-29. Sie & Susie had daughter Bertha & son John D. Susie's mother, Mrs. Rebecca Greer married Wyatt Bailey in Johnson co AR about 1899. Simon Sutherlan's WWI Draft Registration Card is on Ancestry. His birthdate is listed as Aug 2 1886 in London, KY. Simon age 33 & 2nd wife Martha age 18, son Thurman age 3 4/12 are on the 1920 Newton co AR census, stamped pg 10A. Sie C Sutherland age 44, Martha O age 28, Thomas age 14, Esther A age 9, Verlsa age 8, James R age 6 & Linnie M age 2 3/12 are on the 1930 Pope co AR census, stamped pg 225 {names are typed as written on census page}. Sie lists himself as 1st being married at age 30; Martha lists herself as 1st being married 19-but I think he meant the marriage to Martha. I don't know her maiden name. I couldn't find it on Ancestry. I am supposing they got married in Arkansas. But didn't find a listing for them. I didn't see her name on the Cassville cemetery listing. Hope this helps.
