I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like I never responded to this posting. I'm really sorry if that's true! I have so many e-mails in this account that I miss them sometimes, so I know I just never saw this one.
In answer to your questions:
All the first ones are yes, except that I still haven't sent for Walter's ss app; I just can't spare the money right now. As to what happened to Della, I know she was living in 1900 with her half brother Pugh in Nevada Co, Ark, but she appears to be single. I'm not sure what happened to her after that...
