I know there names were Homer and Lena, and I know Lena's last name was Edwards, I have a copy of their marriage license. As to whether or not Lena was ever in Nevada County it's 50/50. One of her sisters was born there in 1887 so the family was there at one point. It is possible that the family moved to Miller County before Lena was born, I don't know. I have been trying to find a dob and dod for Lena for 20 years, this original post was a shot in the dark. Homer and Lena had one daughter Ruby who was my grandmother. Ruby always told us that Lena died when she was between 3 and 9 months old. Hirem and Laverne are not the 2 I'm looking for and they don't yet show up in my researchy.
