Looking for Grandparents of Alex Hays moved to Ar. Mt.Ida Section Montg. Co. in early 1870's from N.C. Alex's parents were John H. and Clarissa Clark Hays. Alex was justice of peace for 27 yrs. and is burried in HotSprings Ar. Alex's sibs. were Julia James and Stilly Ann. His children were Penny, Buna, Linnie, Otis, Jesse, Fred, Fletcher,and Lester. My Grandmother Betty Jane Hayes/Smith was a Half sister, by his fathers 3rd wife Eliz."Betsy" Thomas Luffman Hay(e)s. Alex never added the e to Hays. Any info would be appreciated.
