My grandpa's name is Jewel Julius "J.J." Brewer. His parents had a farm on the highway between Oden and Pine Ridge in Montgomery County. Their farm was next to the Holliday's. (See message #32 by Carolyn Haney.) My great grandparents were Henry Louis "Jack" Brewer and Mary Catherine "Polly" Wilhite, I think. Jack and Polly's kids were Ollie, Bert, Marvin, Jewel (my grandpa), Beulah, Inez, and Nanny Brewer. J.J. talked like an uncle had a saw mill in Oden. I don't know when the Brewer family came to Ark or where they came from. Any information would be helpful.
