I recently visited in Montgomery Co., AR, the Mt. Ida, AR cemetery and found the grave marker for my g-g-grand father Shadrack M. A. Rodgers' grave. I also visited the grave of his first wife, Mary Duckworth Rodgers in the Oden Cemetery. Both died in the late 1800's but their gravestones looked much newer than that. Does anyone know if older stones were replaced by the present ones? I would also like to correspond with any family members of S.M.A. Rodgers IV. I am working on his family history and would be happy to share information.
