Hello. More than likely after the Civil War around about 1867, this man was moved to Little Rock and buried in the National Cemetery up there.
If he did not go to Little Rock, then his remains were taken to Memphis.
It is possible that he is either place and lies in a marked grave or possibly even unknown USA. If he made it to either place and his name was not lost, he will show up on the list of dead that are buried there in that cemetery. CSA did not get that good of a treatment and are nearly all marked Unknown.
Your best bet is to post in the Arkansas Civil War site ran by Jim Martin. Be careful how you word it as it is strictly Civil War.
You would be amazed at the kin that are still searching for graves in this day and time.
