Hiram Golighty son of Joseph Golightly and Abigail Smith Golightly was born in SC, married Rebecca Henly Glover , a widow in Pope co IL 1832. Was listed on 1840 Pope co census, 1850 St. Francis co AR census , then either moved to Monroe co or the line moved, not sure which. They had two known sons, Abner and Americus. One son died in MS during the Civil War, his brother married his widow Mary Jane , we believe. By 1865 Hiram, Rebecca had died, and there is also nothing of Abner. Mary Jane married a William Davis and lived in Lee co AR. I would like to hear from anyone with Golightly, Davis , Glover or Henly surnames in the above mentioned counties and states.
