Lee, are you sure he was born in AR? I see in the 1910 census it says he was born in Indiana, father b. NC, mother IN.

In 1880 census I find:
Glaize Twp, Jackson Co., AR:
G.L. Bishop, age 35, b. NC, parents b. NC
M.F., wife, age 26, b. IN, parents b. KY
W.A., son, age 9, b. IN
C.C., son, age 6, b. IN
B.F., son, age 2 mos., b. AR

1870 census, Morgan Co., IN:
George L. Bishop, age 25, b. NC, farm laborer (apparently not married yet)

Sandra
