Jacob Collins 1846-1925(new information)
I have a bit of new information so I am making a new post in the hopes that someone may have unknowingly run across some information on these Collins.
I am looking for any information on my great great grandfather Jacob Collins from Missouri. His birth date seems to fluctuate from 1846-1853. His first child was born with his first wife, Mary “Polly” Collins in 1865 so his birth date was most likely the earlier year rather than the later.
Here is the information that I currently have and not in any particular order:

He is in Richland Township, Texas Co., MO at the time. He is living next to Elizabeth Betsy Collins and Levi Collins in this census and he and Levi are almost the same age. The only thing that precludes me from connecting him directly to this group is that Polly Collins is most likely the daughter of Aaron Collins and Elizabeth Betsy Collins. However, there is a possibility that this Mary Polly Collins could've been from one of the other branches.
Williams' middle name is Henry and he is the father of Shelt Collins. He married his step-sister, Malinda Elizabeth Jones.

Ellen married Bob Moore and then married his son-in-law so she could take care of her grandchildren, Eugene Pemblum "Pem" Goodwin. On Pem's death certificate Ellen's first name is Cora.
Sarah married Bert Sylvester Dunn.
Polly Collins went on to have another daughter named Caldonia, who married Kary/Carrie/Cary Luton and died in Missouri. There is not a name for the father of Caldonia on the death certificate. She was born in 1882.
My grandmother said that Jacob and Polly also had a daughter named Arizona. Maybe Vandalia’s real name or middle name was Arizona, because after 1880 Vandalia/Vandaly disappears.
The original thought was that Jacob was the son of Harmon Collins(1807 Kentucky) however I have not seen Jacob in any census connected to anyone before 1870.
Also, in every census except for the 1910 census, Jacob lists both parents as being born in Indiana.
Jacob’s last location was in 1920(he died in 1925 according to his headstone) was in Jane’s Creek, Arkansas. He is buried in Flint Cemetery, Sharp, Arkansas along with my great grandfather, great aunts, great uncle and other known relatives. What is odd about this cemetery however is that the Collins buried here are all descendants of the Stephen Collins line, with the possible exception of mine.
It is also believed that Jacob may have been a middle name and not his first name. He may have been hiding on the census under a true first name.
My biggest questions at this point are:
1) Which group does Jacob come from? My aunt passed down information gathered from a reunion that he was Harmon Collins' son, but if he was,
2) Which son was he?
3) Why is he in a cemetery filled with Stephen's children and grandchildren and not in Douglas or Howell with Harmon's children and grandchildren?
Thanks!
