Ussery changed to Glenwood, Arkansas
Posted by: June Bills (ID *****8687) Date: February 06, 2013 at 19:11:20

Can anyone tell me when the name of Ussery, Arkansas was changed to Glenwood, Arkansas if indeed it was. Could Glenwood been a new town and named such when Ussery dried up so to speak. I have a copy of a post card from Ussery, Arkansas dated 1910 and received a map showing it close to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Its no longer there and the town of Glenwood's web page tells it was started in 1909. I would really like to know more about this place. Any more help will be appreciated. Thanks, June Ussery Bills
