this contains more info...
b/date of 1843[not 1840] more closely matches the federal census returns

William Archie Richardson of Lacy, Ar was born September 19, 1843 at Meridian, Lauderdale Co, Ms. the son of James David Richardson born at Fairfield, S. C and his wife Elizabeth Baines daughter of Absolum Baines of Anson Co., N. C. Was educated by teachers John Everett, Lacy, Ar., Tom Tucker, Prof. Brown and Milton Bins. Was a farmer, democrat and Methodist. "In war service, I was Corporal in Churchill's command, under capt. Hawkins, enlisted June 1861, discharged May 1865. Married Louizer M. Grubbs, dau of Steven and Elizabeth Grubbs, Dec. 6, 1869 at Lacy, Ar. Children:
Elizabeth Richardson m. Albert Cowan Moody, Ar
Louiza C. Richardson m. Dave O'neal Lacy, Ar
Maey J. Richardson m. Will Whitehead Midway, Ar
W. M. Richardson m. Lilly Scoggins Lacy, Ar
Ida A. Richardson, Single

Certified by M. M. Dickson, Assessor of Drew Co., Ar. April 6, 1912

According to Drew County Cemetery records David J. Richardson born 1807 died 188- and Elizabeth Bains Richardson born 1822 died 188-. They are both buried in the Lacey Cemetery, Drew Co., Ar.
